Ok, probably the most basic question that is asked is what's the best way to shampoo? Should I use conditioner every time I wash my hair?
There are so many products out there, it just gets really confusing!
Here's what the pros say:
FIRST, YOU NEED TO SELECT AN APPROPRIATE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER BASED ON YOUR SPECIFIC HAIR NEEDS. ADVANCE TECHNIQUES OFFERS A FULL-RANGE OF SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS THAT ADDRESS A WIDE-RANGE OF HAIR TYPES AND CONDITIONS. I RECOMMEND MY CLIENTS SHAMPOO AND CONDITION EVERY TIME THEY WASH THEIR HAIR. THESE ARE THE TIPS I GIVE TO MY CLIENTS:
Gently massage your scalp when shampooing. It's relaxing, helps remove buildup and, most importantly, stimulates your scalp to promote healthy hair growth. Use warm water, not hot, when washing hair. Hot water can be drying to both scalp and hair. To get the most out of your conditioner, make sure to squeeze excess water out of hair prior to applying. If hair is completely saturated with water, it is hard for your conditioner to effectively penetrate the hair. Finally, after applying conditioner, rinse hair with cooler water to help seal, or close, the cuticle and lock in the benefits of your conditioner.
